I believe every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. Sometimes, we simply need someone who truly sees us, believes in our ability to grow, and walks alongside us through life’s challenges. The best therapy isn’t about being judged or “fixed”, it’s about feeling genuinely seen, understood, supported, and empowered to become the most authentic version of yourself.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, career stress, grief, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can be your authentic self. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be holding you back, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to. Many people come to their first session feeling nervous or unsure of what to expect and that’s completely normal. My hope is that you’ll quickly discover therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. Instead, it can feel like an honest conversation with someone who is fully invested in helping you grow and succeed. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s built on trust, authenticity, collaboration, and—when appropriate—a little humor. I’ll meet you where you are while gently encouraging and challenging you toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based practices to help you better understand yourself, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create realistic goals that support lasting progress. My hope is that you’ll leave each session not only feeling heard and supported but also equipped with practical strategies you can use in everyday life.

For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, parents, families, educators, and professionals from diverse backgrounds. My experience in higher education, school counseling, and clinical mental health has allowed me to support individuals through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, family dynamics, identity development, academic and career transitions, and life’s many changes. As both an Air Force veteran and someone who grew up in a military family, I also understand the unique challenges of resilience, change, and adapting to life’s unexpected transitions.

I believe meaningful change doesn’t happen all at once—it happens one conversation, one insight, and one courageous step at a time. My hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and more confident in your ability to create a life that feels meaningful and authentic to you.

When you work with me, you can expect a counselor who will listen without judgment, celebrate your successes, gently challenge you when needed, and partner with you every step of the way. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you discover the most authentic version of yourself.
